At the crux of it, we're a group of friends, curators and artists from Sheffield, sharing work by artists we really believe in — people doing interesting things with their practice who we think more people should know about. From our emerging art postcard subscription to original works, limited edition prints and gallery-quality greetings cards, each piece is chosen for the strength of the artist’s voice and the ideas behind their work.
We are committed to curating wonderful artwork by up and coming artists
The Art Post was founded in Sheffield during the pandemic to make discovering and sharing local art more personal and accessible. With galleries closed, we set out to deliver curated art experiences straight to people's homes. By 2021, hundreds of art lovers across the region were receiving postcard-sized miniature masterpieces featuring bold, emerging creators—a tangible, beautiful way to connect with new artists.
What began as a Sheff project quickly evolved into a platform for championing local talent and celebrating artist discovery. Today, our postcard subscription continues to bring inspiring works from emerging artists into homes, making collecting art effortless and meaningful.
Since 2020, we’ve showcased the work of over 200 emerging artists from around the world — helping them reach new audiences and connect their art with people who truly value it.
