About
Embroidery artist Amy Davies focuses on creating beautiful tactile pieces of artwork. Based in Manchester with a BA degree in Interactive Arts, her artwork primarily focuses on exploring colour and texture. A self taught Embroiderist, Amy combines hand embroidery, bead work and paint to create unique, stunning pieces of wall art. Each piece is sewn completely by hand, with hours dedicated to creating these often abstract, tactile pieces. Her paintings often form a complimentary component to her embroidery, soft and calm, evoking a sense of meditative tranquility. Founding her own brand ‘Circle&Stitch’ in 2019. Amy has slowly built up a small business selling her artwork, along with drawings and jewellery. Artwork is currently for sale via her online Etsy store and her creative progress can be followed on her Instagram account. Commissions welcome.
