I live and work as a full time artist in the beautiful Chiltern hills, the landscape and woodlands that surround me forms my primary focus at this time. I work in an impressionist style where the subject is important but also the medium, the qualities of the paint and the brushstrokes are integral.
We've carefully curated a selection of works from each artist that showcases their skill and distinctive voice. Explore their creations and discover the inspiration behind each piece.

Lots of artists are now part of The Art Post collective. We will try to find an artist who is best suited for your project or commission. If you know who you would like to commission, feel free to specify the artists' name in the form.
We're asking artists to choose one notable person, place and object that has inspired them in their journey so far. We're mapping inspiration at a scale never attempted before
The French impressionist painters (especially Monet) were some of my earliest inspiration and I still feel the same way. They way they created influences still how I create today. I also am constantly absorbing from contemporary artists through Instagram, especially Russian and American artists who have such a strong landscape tradition.
The Chiltern hills have been my home for the last 30 years. Classic English countryside of rolling hills with many patches of woodland just to the north of London. This Chilterns are listed as an area of outstanding natural beauty, and its this place that has really given me my focus in recent years.
The most iconic object for me is the bluebell. This simple flower has challenged me, and become a staple subject and what I am most known for as an artist as well.
We’re proud to collaborate with some of the world’s most exciting contemporary artists, bringing their work to new audiences. We’re passionate about helping them tell their stories authentically, and share their practice in creative ways.
