About
Lucy Engels is an artist / quilter living and working in Edinburgh. She predominantly plays with colour relationships. A reoccurring theme throughout her work both in textile and on paper. She is in constant search of the next unexpected colour pairing to delight the eyes. Over the past few years Lucy has been using predominantly textile based quilting methods in her practice. However, there is now a move to reintroduce more works on paper. With the intention of exploring the shift between the two mediums and how that impacts and influences the work being produced.
