Polly Chilcott primarily explores print-making and ink drawings through her art, although often enjoys experimenting with any medium available. Recently her work has taken a more abstract turn, exploring ideas and subjects indirectly - with accompanying explanations often transforming the perceptions of her work. Since leaving school last year, Polly has worked to pursue every creative opportunity within reach and find her place in the Sheffield art scene. Alongside studying at college, she is involved with local art galleries and businesses such as ‘SITE gallery’ and ‘APG works’, as well as writing and illustrating for a political collaborative publication.

We're asking artists to choose one notable person, place and object that has inspired them in their journey so far. We're mapping inspiration at a scale never attempted before
We’re proud to collaborate with some of the world’s most exciting contemporary artists, bringing their work to new audiences. We’re passionate about helping them tell their stories authentically, and share their practice in creative ways.
