The Art Post was founded in Sheffield during the pandemic to make discovering and sharing local art more personal and accessible. With galleries closed, we set out to deliver curated art experiences straight to people's homes. By 2021, hundreds of art lovers across the region were receiving postcard-sized prints featuring bold, emerging creators—a tangible, beautiful way to connect with new artists.
What began as a regional project quickly evolved into a platform for championing local talent and celebrating creative discovery. Today, our postcard subscription continues to bring inspiring works from emerging artists into homes, making collecting art effortless and meaningful.
Since 2020, we've showcased the works of over 200 emerging artists from across the world in The Art Post, and have helped many artists find new audiences for their original works.
